For Viktoria Volosin, that question came after visiting a custom lip lab while traveling in Dallas. The experience allowed customers to work one-on-one with a beauty mixologist to create their own personalized lipstick or lip gloss, and it immediately sparked an idea.

Instead of rushing to open a storefront, Viktoria took a different approach. She spent the next two years bringing Bespoke Beaute Lab to private parties, pop-up events, markets, and community gatherings, allowing customers to experience the concept while learning what people loved most.
That patience paid off.
“One of the biggest lessons I learned was to validate the idea before signing a lease,” Viktoria shared. “By the time I was ready for a storefront, people were already asking where they could find us next.”
Today, Bespoke Beaute Lab is preparing to open its first permanent location in Downtown Overland Park at 7224 W. 79th Street.
